Meet Nick...

Nick is a self-taught photographer and director from England, now living between an island near Seattle and Chicago with his wife and their tribe of eight children. He is world renowned and highly awarded for his human-nature documentary projects and cinematic global advertising campaigns.

Nick is passionate about stunning locations, committed to collaborating with great creatives, and loves connecting with the people and places he photographs. Originally a wildlife scientist and biodiversity conservationist, Nick blends his passion for the natural world with the specific needs of global brands and advertising clients including American Airlines, Barclays Bank, BMW, Four Seasons, Intel, The Nature Conservancy, Nespresso, and Uber. His work is regularly seen in magazines and billboards around the world and Nick is consistently recognized in leading industry awards like Lurzer’s Archive 200 Best Ad Photographers, the International Photography Awards, and Graphis.

Over the past 12 years Nick has shot for environmental non-profits and organizations documenting communities and places on the forefront of global environmental change. Since the start of his career Nick has lived with, and documented, Alaska Native communities in Alaska’s Bristol Bay region and helped raise awareness and permanently protect the world’s last great wild salmon run from foreign mining development.

Nick is as comfortable photographing hunter gatherers in Tanzania as he is shooting global advertising campaigns. Known throughout the industry as a gentle and immersive photographer, Nick brings an inclusive and thoughtful energy to all his projects allowing him to capture deeply emotional and arresting imagery celebrating our connections to one another and the world around us.
